Shia LaBeouf just does it

Shia LaBeouf has recently become my favourite celebrity. For a few reasons. I just wanted to talk about how Shia attracted my attention and why I find him to be the most interesting celebrity.

The first note of Shia LaBeouf I took was from the "Transformer"-movies. When I watched them as a young teenager I had a ton of fun. Shia was hailed as THE upcoming actor. I personally lost track of him soon afterwards, because I wasn´t that much into movies back then. I heard of some scandals Shia had, but I wasn´t really interested or upset.
Now, the first time I regognized Shia LaBeouf as a polarizing and interesting personality in recent times was when I watched a video on Youtube about him. It´s more or less a music video. The song is called "Actual Cannibal Shia LaBeouf" and was created by Rob Cantor, who I had subscribed to before and think of as a pure genius.

I loved the video from the beginning. It´s one of the most random things I have ever seen. And one of the most funny, hilarious and genius ones. Watch it and you will understand. Until today I probably watched it about a hundred times. I even used it as my "themesong" at my graduation. Shia himself has a short appearance at the end, and this scene was proof for me, that Shia LaBeouf has a great sense of humour.
But that was only the beginning. The next thing Shia surprised me with was his appearance on the "Jimmy Kimmel Show". He was invited as a guest and told the story of how he got into jail. And this story, combined with the way Shia narrated it, was pants down the funniest thing I´ve seen all year. Just absurd.

I started to realise how crazy and reckless this person really is.
I love it when people don´t give a damn about anything, and Shia is the person who does it.
I already loved the man at that stage, but he didn´t stop. The next thing he did was his motivational speech, which instantly went viral. This thing is even more random than the stuff he did before.

Who does such things?! Nobody. Except Shia LaBeouf. I mean, just look at him, shouting "JUST DO IT!" in front of a greenscreen, looking like a hobo on drugs. After that video I fully realized that Shia LaBeouf is one crazy motherfucker. And I also realized that I love it. He doesn´t give a single fuck. He seemingly doesn´t care about his appearance, about his image or reputation. Or he does and it´s all just one clever plan. Who knows?
Over to the thing that made me write this post.

Nothing more to say.
Just...Shia LaBeouf.
Thank you, Shia, and keep going!

I love you, Shia!

My Pen

I just passed my Abitur, the diploma you get for finishing the Gymnasium. I guess it´s kind of the same or atleast an equivalent to highschool. More or less a pretty big deal, so to say.
While preapring for the finals, my father recieved an advertising gift at work. It came from Lamy, a producer of quality office products. The present contained a drop action pencil and a pen. My dad forgot the pen at work, and only brought home the pencil. He wanted to give it to me in order to use it in my finals. I said I didn´t have any use for it, the pen was to fragile. So my dad jokingly said, if I got a final grade of 1,3 (which is like very good and seem nearly unreachable at that time), he would gift me the missing pen, something I realistically would use. Neither of us expected me to reach that goal, so it was more or less a joke for a short time.
About two months later I was through my finals and about to get my final grades. The teacher handing me out the certificate asked what I was hoping for. 1,6, I said. He smiled. When I looked at the paper I first couldn´t believe it. I knew I did alright in the finals, but I actually did really, really well. In fact, I did so well I achieved a grade of 1,3!
I seldom was so happy. It took me a while to realise, but when I got home and told my mother I got fully excited. I immediately called my dad at work. He was just as baffeld as I had been soon before.
don´t think, he showed that much emotions in front of me ever before that. I could definitely tell how proud he was. I reminded him of the pen. My dad laughed, saying he couldn´t give me any guarantee that he would find it. But when he came home that evening he actually brought the freaking pen with him. But not only that. My dad, as awesome as he is, offered to print something on it. With lasers! He said, he could arrange it so that he would be able to use the technology at his workplace to do so. I was hyped. I´m 18 years old now, but my dad writing something on my well-deserved pen with lasers was just way to cool! I told him to write "42" onto it. 42 is my favourite number and also my motto in life (maybe I´ll write something about it later. Pretty sure, actually :D ), so it fit perfectly.
Today I recieved the finished pen. With the laser-written 42 on it!
And...it´s beautiful. I love it! Thanks so much, Dad!
Other people get a lot of money, a smartphone or even a car for doing well in their finals. I got a pen, and i couldn´t be happier about it. One of the best presents I ever recieved!

My awesome pen!

I want to ride my bicycle!

I like bikes. I love bikes since I learned to drive one at the age of three. I always had a bike. I think he longest time I dind´t ride a bike was about two weeks, when I was on holidays abroad with my family and we couldn´t fit my bicycle in the car. There was the option to rent a bike at the campsite we stayed, but all of them were to small for me. I also always had very good bikes. I was very content with their quality. My father is een more fascinated by bikes than I am, and so I always had support when buying a new bicycle.
In recent years, my connection to bikes got a little bit...complicated.

The Ghost SE 5000
(BEST BIKE EVER!!!)
The first ever bike I really had to pay for, a black Ghost SE 5000, got stolen while I was at school. Seldom been so sad.

I really, really loved it. It looked great, the components were top notch, especially the tires, and I had no problems with it whatsoever. It still is the best bike I ever had and I paid a lot for it as a 15-year old boy. Worth every bit of it.

The bike I got afterwards, the one I still have today, is a  Serious Bicycle. We ordered it online. We had never done that before, and now I say, I would never do it again. The specs of the bike looked good on paper, and it was on sale at the online-store. So we just went for it. It looked nice (a bit similar to my old Ghost), but it was a trap. The brakes were shit (had to repair both of them two times until now), and overall it is just not that great.
So please, never ever buy a bike online. Always go to a local store, try out some bikes you like, get competent advice and only then buy your new love.
So, this is more or less my bike-story: TL;DR: I love bikes.
Sometimes I catch myself drooling, because I´m just stunned by a absolutely beautiful bike I see. For example

The Trek Superfly 9.9 SL

or

The Ghost Riot 9 LC

I simply cannot withstand these looks. Especially Mountainbikes. They just have this form, packed with dynamic. The mechnical brilliance with wich these bikes are construced into such an amazing appearance, it just fascinates me. I hope, atleast some of you understand me!
Over to the last point. I´ve found the website of a custom bike manufacturer from Francisco on the internet and I quite liked it. So I thought, I´d share it: Mission Bicycle Company
Beatifully designed website, witty content and great bikes. But hte best part is their newly launched "most beautiful, most realistic, most freakin' awesome bike builder in the known multiverse". Try it, it´s brilliant and soooo fun, they offer so much ways to build exactly the one bike you want.
Here is my creation:

And now i want to ride my bicycle!
